| Mr. Monroe Jackson Taylor
age 69 of N. Timber Ridge Rd. Blairsville passed away on Sunday
Nov.16,2008 at his home following a brief illness. Mr. Taylor was born
on Sept.6,1939 in Fannin County, the son of the late Paul Monroe Taylor
and the late Willia Mae Meers Taylor. Monroe loved farming and
gardening. He was a gentle, caring and considerate person who loved his
family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and also two
sisters, Maebell Lee and Lois Porter. Mr. Taylor was of the Baptist
faith. Surviving Mr. Taylor are one son Randy Taylor of GA., one brother and sister in law, David and Cathy Taylor of Blairsville, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Nov.19,2008 at 2:00pm from the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert Legg officiating. Special music will be presented by Hubert and Betty Legg and Paul Porter. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, William, Wendall, Tony, Edgar and Ryan Lee, Travis and Matthew Taylor and Chad Gregory. Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville in charge of the arrangements.
