| Mr. William "Tommy"
Gillespie age 66 of Owltown Rd. Blairsville, formerly of Buford, GA
passed away on Sunday May 30,2010 in the Union General Hospital
following a brief illness. Mr. Gillespie was born on Jan.9,1944 in Hall
County, GA the son of the late Sylvester Gillespie and the late Estelle
Roberts Gillespie. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a member
of the Telephone Pioneers. Tommy enjoyed golf, motorcycles and
gardening. Tommy was of the Baptist faith. Surviving Mr. Gillespie are his loving wife of fourteen years, Linda Howington Sudderth Gillespie of Blairsville, one daughter and son in law, Wendi and Craig Nielsen of Buford, GA, four brothers and sister in laws, Johnny and Barbara Gillespie of Gainesville, GA, Junior and Betty Gillespie of Murrayville, GA, Jessie and Rita Gillespie of Gainesville, GA, Dan and Kathy Gillespie of Pheonix, AZ, sister in law, Frances Brown-Gillespie of Lula, GA, one grand daughter, Riley Nielsen, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 5,2010 at 4:00pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Special music will be presented by Ann Shubert. Military Honors will be presented by the North GA Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Gillespie. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 3-4pm. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville in charge of the arrangements. | Mrs. Donna Ann Harper
age 56 of Walnut Rd. Blairsville passed away on Tuesday June 1,2010 at
her home. Mrs. Harper was born on April 4,1954 in Boca Raton, FL., the
daughter of the late Joe Borozny and the late Gertrude LaFlamme Borozny.
Donna retired from Bell South in 2003.At the time of her death she was
employed with Union General Hospital as an L. P. N. She loved cooking,
gardening and doing magic tricks. Mrs. Harper was a member of St.
Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Surviving Donna are her loving husband, Rodney Harper of Blairsville, one brother and sister in law, Joe and Donna Borozny of Blairsville, step daughter and son in law, Lisa and Michael Bennett of Columbia, SC., mother in law, Della Stroud Grant of Kinston, NC., brother in laws, Carl and Christine Harper of Lake Worth, FL., Robert Harper of Jacksonville, FL., Daniel Harper of Lagrange, NC., Donald and Vickie Harper of Ash, NC., sister in laws, Sandy and Ken Jones of Maple Hill, NC., Darlene and Henry Rappa of Swansboro, NC., nieces and nephews, Erin Borozny of Houston, TX., Danita Perry of West Palm Beach, FL., Stacey Perry of Jupitor, FL., Damon and Amber Borozny of Atlanta, great niece, Scarlett Iva Borozny, step grandchildren, Ashley and Andrew, many other relatives and friends also survive. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday June 5,2010 at 11:00am from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Richard Wise officiating. Special music will be presented by Ron Gaucher. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Union General Hospital Auxiliary in memory of Mrs. Harper.
