| Miss Pamela Jean Garrett
age 44 of Garrett St. Blairsville passed away on Thursday June 3,2010 at
her home following an extended illness. Miss Garrett was born on May
16,1966 in Union County, the daughter of James Wesley Garrett and
Elizabeth Ann Crawford Garrett. Pam was a native and lifelong resident
of Union County. She enjoyed fishing in her spare time. She was a loving
daughter, sister, sister in law, aunt and was a friend to all who knew
her.She never met a stranger. Pam was a member of the Day of Grace
Baptist Church. Surviving Pam are her parents, James and Elizabeth Garrett of Blairsville, eight brothers and sisters and their spouses, Sharlotte and Gary Adams of Cleveland, GA, Eddie and Jeanette Garrett of Blairsville, Ronnie and Jan Garrett of Blairsville, Stanley Garrett of Blairsville, Dennis and Loretta Garrett of Blairsville, Beverly Hawkins of Blairsville, Cindy Gillum of Gainesville, GA, Mark and Ancy Garrett of Blairsville, several nieces,nephews,many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 5,201 at 1:00pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Jeremy Henderson and Rev. Kevin Garrett officiating. Special music will be presented by David Chatham and family and Jodie Garrett. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Cody, Kaleb, Cory and Alton Garrett, Phillip Sampson, Coty Carroll, Wesley Dwyer and Ian Reves. Interment will follow in the Union Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-9pm. | Mr. Sydney Yale Cole
age 91 Smokey Creek Cove Blairsville passed away on Sunday June 6,2010
at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Cole was born on July
16,1918 in Toronto, Canada, the son of the late Louis Cole and the late
Ann Messenger Cole. Mr. Cole was a member of Sertoma, The Florida Board
of Realtors and the Longboat Key Country Club. He was an
accomplished artist and a wonderful golfer. He was a Squadron Leader in
the Royal Air Force for seven years and flew Spitfires. He owned a
service typesetter printing business in Toronto for over twenty five
years and was owner/broker of Quest Realty in Sarasota, FL for over
thirty years. He was preceded in death by a brother,Melvin Cole and a
step son, Charles Williams. Mr. Cole was of the Jewish faith. Surviving Mr. Cole are his loving wife, Toni Williams Cole of Blairsville, three daughters and two son in laws, Kathryne and Dr. David Manace of San Fransisco, CA, Nancy and Robert Krangle of Toronto, Angelique Moldauer of Sarasota, FL, one brother, Albert Cole of CA, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, many other relatives and friends also survive. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Cole. Mrs. Annie Lorene Henderson age 82 of
Bass Henderson Rd. Union County passed away on Sunday June 6,2010 in the
North East Ga Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs.
Henderson was born on June 21, 1927 in Union County, the daughter of the
late John Mitch Ingram and the late Rhoda Phillips Ingram. Mrs.
Henderson was a native and lifelong resident of union County. She was a
retired seamstress and currently a homemaker. She was a good Christian
lady who loved gardening and spending time with her family and friends
and helping the children and grandchildren with their everyday
adventures. She was most comfortable when she had people visiting. She
was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Mitch Ingram Jr. Mrs.
Henderson was a member of Gum Log Baptist Church. She loved her church
family and enjoyed the tapes of preaching and singing sent to her by her
Christian friends when she was unable to attend. Surviving Mrs. Henderson are her loving husband, Bass Henderson of the home, three daughters and son in laws, Irene and L. D. Buchanan of Blairsville, Geraldine and Hubert Plott of Blairsville, Brenda and Sammy Lowman of Ellijay, two sisters, Opal Carroll of Blairsville, Ella Mae Ingram of Blairsville, five grandchildren, Janeen Plott, Aunderea and Greg Owenby ,Jason and Kelly Lowman, Jerome and Donna Lowman, Jennifer and Brent Mosley, six great grandchildren, Kyle and Caleb Snow, Anna and Emily Owenby, Olivia Irene and Matthew Lowman, a special sister in law, Edith Garrett, many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services were held on Tuesday June 8,2010 from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Farrell Presley and Rev. Dwayne Patterson officiating. Special music was presented by Danita Kennedy. The following gentleman served pallbearers, Jerome Lowman, Jason Lowman, Greg Owenby, Tim Ingram, Johnny Carroll and Mitchell Ingram. Serving as honorary pallbearers were, Kyle and Caleb Snow, Matthew Lowman and Roy Henderson. Interment followed in the Henderson Cemetery. | Mr. Sheldon Bradley
Beise age 63 of Sam Dye Rd. Blairsville passed away on Thursday June
10,2010 at his home following a brief illness. Mr. Beise was born on
Dec.30,1946 in Ladysmith, WI., the son of the late Harold William Beise
and the late Genavieve Shirley Coey Beise. Mr. Beise enjoyed hunting and
fishing and loved his dogs. He was a loving father, brother and
grandfather. He was voted Homecoming King in High School and was a
member of the Village of Exeland Board of Directors. Mr. Beise was a
member of the Church of God Seventh Day. Surviving Mr. Beise are three sons and two daughter in laws, Bart and Kristi Beise of Young Harris, Kirt Beise of Young Harris, James and Krystal Beise of Young Harris, two brothers and two sister in laws, Ronald and Diane Beise of Exeland, WI., Harold and Judy Beise of Young Harris, , six grandchildren, Bradley, Angela, Isaac, Matthew, Caleb and Brooke, many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held on Monday June 14, 2010 at 11:00am from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. John Pinkston officiating. The following grandchildren will serve as pallbearers, Bryon, Isaac, Bradley, Angel, Bradley, Caleb, Matthew and Brooke Beise. Interment will follow in the Meadow View Cemetery.
